Yantra Wisdom Painting Immersion: Exploring the Chakras Creatively
Unlock + Activate Your Full Creative Potential
In this 3-day Yantra Wisdom immersion, embark upon a discovery of your Self through the architecture of subtle anatomy. The chakras are a system of unfolding awareness that can be experienced creatively by way of mantra, yantra, meditation and movement, to facilitate the Tantric wisdom each chakra holds.
The architecture of each chakra, as yantra, will be learned via the creative practice of yantra painting. The combined effects of the workshop will give students a whole education on various ways to incorporate the wisdom of the chakras in their individual practice as well as in their current teaching.
Each day will include a physical (asana) practice, pranayama, meditation, drawing, painting and other yoga modalities to cultivate and awaken the Divine Spark of creativity. Tables, chairs, floor seating and standing work space will be provided for students to move freely through their days.
Students will Learn & Explore:
• How to draw and paint each of the seven chakras.
• How to use the tools used for yantra painting: compass, ruler, paint, brushes, simple painting techniques and basic color mixing.
• The Sanskrit alphabet and the sacred lotus: learning the Sanskrit alphabet and its relationship to the chakras.
• Archetype of each chakra as life cycle.
• Laya Yoga: visualization and meditation technique to unlock the chakras.
• How to create a set of chakra cards for use as a study/ practice tool.
• How to activate the creative part of yourself, that's yearning to be remembered.

My passion is to inspire seekers to rediscover their creative self through personal inquiry, effortlessness, ritual, sangha and sadhana. I have been studying and teaching yoga in the Sri Viddya linage since 2005; initiated by my teacher Yogarupa Rod Stryker. In 2015, I completed my Masters degree at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Humanities with an emphasis on Depth Psychology. This endeavor solidified my belief that creativity is one of the most essential tools to living a joyous and purposeful life. I enjoy sharing these teaching through ritual and creativity, as these are some of the most ancient tools used to explore the depth of our soul.
I have also studied Restorative Yoga extensively and the practical applications of yoga therapy with Judith Lasater. I am grateful to have studied the art of yantras with Pieter Weltevrede & Mavis Gewant. I try to travel to India yearly, where I am re-inspired to share these teachings.
