Join teen yoga educator Stephanie Chee Barea for this 10-week class series designed to help high school students (grades 9-12) successfully manage their energy and emotions through the study and practice of yoga, in community with one another.
Using a yogic lens of awareness, conscious relaxation, and strategic breathing techniques, the class begins with targeted self massage using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls followed by gentle flowing sequences to warm and nourish the body.
Start off your week with a healthy dose of Monday Morning Meds – a master-crafted combination of yoga practices packed into 45 minutes to increase the power and vibrancy of your body, mind & soul.
Prana Vinyasa is generally moderate to slow paced compared to other traditions, but is quite difficult nevertheless. Great care is given to proper alignment through energetic forces (vayus) as well as “moods” or the bhav in Sanskrit. This class will be tailored for beginners but will be appropriate for experienced practitioners as well.
