Focused on increasing proprioception, strength, and mobility of your body and your joints, this class will deepen your understanding of your body and it's relation to movement through the foundation and alignment of Yoga poses. Using a yogic lens of awareness, conscious relaxation, and strategic breathing techniques, the class begins with targeted self massage using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls followed by gentle flowing sequences to warm and nourish the body. Through versatile and effective sequencing we will also explore more challenging asanas (physical poses) that increase core, joint, and overall strength and stability. Near the end, we integrate short sequences of yin and restorative yoga to still and settle the mind and body and re-balance our energy. Pattie carefully fosters a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel as though the class is being customized for them. Open to beginners and anyone looking to transform their physical practice into an intimate understanding of the mind and body. Come de-stress, uplift, restore, and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit with us!
This is an all level, beginner friendly class with gentle to moderate levels of intensity. All levels of experience are welcome. As always, please listen to your body first and foremost, modify the practice to your needs, and rest whenever needed.
