Ayurvedic wisdom empowers you to choose appropriate yoga and lifestyle practices to balance out your unique stress profile.  Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga and the oldest traditional medicine system that is still in use today. With roots in ancient India, Ayurveda was developed in tandem with yoga as two sides of the same coin. All yoga practices, meditations, herbs, spices, foods, habits, and decisions have a specific energetic effect on our bodies that will either help us or harm us.  In this introductory workshop, you will learn: 

  • The basics of ayurvedic theory and how you can use it to create health for your unique constitution
  • How to rebalance your unique body and mind with lifestyle practices, including sense therapy  (aromatherapy and sound healing), routines (early to bed, early to rise), mindful eating practices, yoga postures, breathing techniques, and more
  • Understand the causes of disease and stress and how to make the harmonious choices that prevent them
  • Several breathing and mindfulness techniques that are universally helpful for the majority of imbalances
