Tension Release Exercises (TRE)
May
16
to Dec 12

Tension Release Exercises (TRE)

In this one-hour class you will be guided through meditation, learn simple mindfulness tools, and be led through simple therapeutic stretches that will help you activate your neurogenic tremor.  These exercises, created by David Berceli, Ph. D, will help you release deep rooted tension that was caused by physical or emotional stress.

TRE uses gentle exercises to release the psoas muscle, the deepest and largest muscle in the body. This powerful muscle holds physical, emotional, and mental stress that we carry in our bodies over the course of our lives.

The psoas muscle is what connects the upper and lower part of the body, it serves our instincts activating our fight or flight when necessary, etc. It is important to keep our psoas muscle in shape as it helps maintain flexibility, mobility, a healthy nervous system, and more.

These class are not recommended for those who are pregnant.

Workshops will be held May 16, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 19, October 17, November 14, December 12
